Workbook not opening in desktop despite being downloaded after Automatic aggregations is disabled

I get the following error when trying to open the workbook even after disabling Automatic aggregations training in service setting

Hi @Anonymous ,

 

We don't support downloading pbix files that have had automatic aggregations enabled for them. See limitations Automatic aggregations overview - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

This means that even if automatic aggregations were enabled at one point, but were disabled later, the report can no longer be downloaded since the "inferred" partitions have been added to the model, which is not supported in Desktop.
