I’d like to share my latest Power BI project built for the Consumer Financial Complaints Analytics Challenge.
The goal was to analyze over consumer complaints submitted to the CFPB and uncover patterns behind complaint volumes, geography, products, and company performance. The dashboard consists of five interactive pages:
Overview – key KPIs, complaint trends, and category breakdowns.
Geography – complaint distribution across states and metro areas.
Products – deep dive into complaint types and sub-products.
Companies – company-level performance, enforcement share, and benchmarking.
Factor Analysis – uncovering drivers behind complaint volume using ML.
What makes this project special is the integration of R models running directly in Power Query:
ARIMA for time-series forecasting of complaint counts,
Linear regression for factor analysis.
The combination of statistical modeling and interactive BI provides both explainability and actionable insight, bridging the gap between data science and business intelligence.
The process is described in detail on my Blog and on LinkedIn.
Would love to hear your thoughts, feedback, or ideas on how this approach could be improved or extended!

Here's another one of my dashboards, integrating statistical modeling, forecasting, and simulations:

Thanks
Good work.
Thank you!
I really like the colors and how the key metrics are highlighted, well done
I'm glad that you like it
