Hi,
We have a number of subscription emails set up, including some external users. This was working fine until last week, when the external users stopped receiving them.
On the subscriptions, I see a warning saying the settings to share to external users us turned off, but when I check, it is all turned on.
Any thoughts appreciated.
Thanks

Hi @RichAsh,
This is a known issue right now.
Power BI has implemented immediate actions affecting automated subscription emails. As part of these immediate actions, we implemented changes to restrict subscription emails to external recipients. Our engineering teams are continuing to investigate the most effective path forward to reenable this feature. We will provide a further update by the end of day on Monday, February 2, 2026 (PST, UTC‑8).

Where is the update that was promised?
Can confirm this has been affecting us as well since 2/1.
I have a call with Microsoft later today on this.
Is there any update on this issue now?
This is also affecting my internal users. If I use a Dynamic Distribution List as a recipient, then it sees this as an "External User". Is this part of the know issue as well?
